The driving test route in Carlton currently does not cover Melbourne city. This testing centre is the closest for people living in the CBD area. Victoria Street is the test boundary! So hook turn is also not included in your driving test taken at Carlton VicRoads. The maximum speed limit is 60km/hr on this testing station while most of the other testing offices have 80km/hr zone included in the driving test route. There are no three point turns in Carlton as well! This does make Carlton a good choice, then, wouldn’t you say…?
